3.5 stars. Well intentioned Christmas story of forgiveness and magic, but despite a healthy 170 pages, it never quite passed beyond simple fairy tale for me and the characters didn’t become as fully fleshed out as they could have. I struggled to keep my focus.

This was a very dear and sweet holiday story. I loved the message and the sentiment.
Geraldine is so excited for this particular Christmas. Her children and grandchildren have no idea their mom and grandma has a secret. She sits them down to tell them a story.
