The volcano part of the story was great, but the people in the book were hard to care about. I don't think I liked any of them.

This was an enjoyable read. The characters were well developed and the story flowed well.

I think the author really stepped it up in this second book, I found that it was even harder than before to put it down. The characters were very cleverly crafted and at some points I myself didn't know who was good or bad. I really felt as though I was Cassie Oldfield and I felt her confusion and pain. Again extremely geologically correct as well, so I was very pleased.

Oh oh oh! I love this series! I've been a geology geek for 30 years, and lived adventure books but I never imagined a combo. The science was thrilling, but even without that, it would have been a good read, though I'm not sure how good

This one is on my Kindle Fire currently as a 'back up book'. A twist on a murder mystery. My husband has finished it and keeps citing the book in our conversations so it must be fairly good LOL
