Short and informative like the other Brief Lives. Newton is an interesting figure especially if you can't imagine discovering anything. The late 17th/early 18th century is a fun time for science, with people still being able to cover a number of areas, so Newton's work on optics and gravity was just part of his wide-reaching interests which included alchemy and theology.
