This is the latest standalone story in the Masters of Paradise story and it makes for an excellent read. While the story commences at the island resort, a large portion of the story takes place in England. This full length novel not only tells the story of Marcus and Gabi, but also Kayla and Darius, in such a seamless way that is so easy to read. I loved the interaction between all of the characters and the knowledge that their life of wealth and privilege will be hard for an outsider such as Gabi to understand made Marcus and Kayla very human. This wasn't a perfect read, however, and I did find the change in locations sometimes confusing. Also, while a lot of time is given to Marcus and Gabi, there is not so much for Kayla and Darius, which was disappointing. Overall, a great but imperfect read.
