This book wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Whilst I did enjoy finding out the full stories of characters such as Alice and Esme, other characters I was not that interested in and at times I skipping several pages and characters. If the book had come out in 2010 when I was still reading the books on a regular basis I may have enjoyed it more, being able to refer to it as I went along. Along with The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, this felt like it was just published to bring back the declining Twilight hype and considering the amount of times I have seen this book in charity shops and book clearances I think a lot of people felt the same way. Whilst the drawings of characters were gorgeous and the book in general was well designed in its look, I still wish that I hadn't spent the money I had on this book, especially considering that I only read it about twice.

I like the Twilight series, so I had fun reading all the extensive backstories for the characters.

(Rating would be closer to a 3.5 than a 3)

This book was pretty cool, it offered some unknown insights into the series. I got my copy for only $10 which was awesome, and I'm not sure I would have wanted to pay full price for this; but nonetheless, this is a must have for twilight fans!

While I'm not a HUGE fan of the books, if you are, this is the guidebook for you. I enjoyed reading the backstory of many of the characters as well as history of the towns. The interview with Mrs Meyers was well done. I also thought mentioning the music that inspired the books was a nice, unexpected touch. All in all an entertaining read.
