It's so much to process and think about. I'm not sure I 'got' everything, but I don't think that matters. I think anything gained is good.
And as it's a borrowed copy, I couldn't mark it. :(

There were definitely a few little nuggets that I highlighted, pondered, put in my journal, etc. But this was a slow moving book for me. I have 30 pages left and I'm calling it a day on this one (who quits a book with 30 pages left?? This girl. Life's too short).

Enjoyed this one. I want to recline with Jesus at the table forever! What a treasure we have in Christ resurrected. “With infinite patience He illuminated the meaning of life and refreshed the weariness of my defeated days. I cannot and will not forget the Great Rabbi who lead me out of darkness into daylight.”

Some good content. Probably better to read than listen to it. Lots of anecdotes which for some reason made the book seem dated to me and also disjointed. Perhaps better to read slowly as a devotional rather than straight through.
Here’s a tough critique of the book. I agree with his assessment of the writing but I wasn’t as alarmed by the doctrine.
