Campy teen drama mystery, with great voice acting to carry the story.
This was a quick, fun listen. The narrator Kate Clarke was expressive in her performance, and she captured the confusion and fear of the main character Emily really well. Emily herself made a lot of dumb choices, but I found myself rooting for her more because of the narration.
The characters are not very likable or fleshed out - and they're all virtually strangers, so everyone seems suspicious. But still, it was a fun thriller with the campy trope of Teens Stuck In A House. The ending was incredibly abrupt, which was a bizarre choice.
