This story is so good. In particular, the first half where Lizzy has a romance with an original character is just one of the most beautiful love stories I’ve ever read. I never want it to end! HEA for ODC don’t worry.
Spice: Serious kissing and one fade to black scene. 🌶️

This is more serious than my normal P&P variations but it’s well written and the happy ending made up for the sadness in the frost half of the book.

2022- Sigh. An amazing story, well performed as an audiobook!

2021/08 reread as an audiobook, narrated by Stevie Zimmerman!
This woman is an artist. She could read the telephone book in the manner of a P&P retelling and it would be awesome!
Amazing book! I did forget how long the Epilogue was. Not sure it needed that extra bit.

2020
Took me a while to get in to this story, but once I realized how different a variation it is, I kind of went along for the ride. It is descriptive at times, and can meander in to segways to explain secondary character side-stories. There is no evil drama to create tension in this book.

It tells the story of EB and all those she loves, from her being 17 yrs old there is one quite dramatic part to the story (which you kind of have to see coming) Once I got the rhythm of this author's story telling, and that it flowed without a big bad, I began to enjoy it.

Would definitely reread.

This was like no other JAFF I have ever read. Knowing the summary of this book I should have expected the plot a little more but somehow I was still surprised. I absolutely loved this book, but it was also very emotional.

Elizabeth is nearly 18 and riding to London with the Gardiners when they come upon a man whose carriage has had a mishap. Thus she meets her husband. Ms. Adams writes this so well that even though Elizabeth and Darcy are the OTP, I was rooting for Elizabeth and her Robert to have a long and happy life. I even cried and was disappointed with the eventual resolution and Part II of the book.

But really I loved it and it was a great ending.

A wonderful story with a wonderful ending

I have read MANY variations of Pride and Prejudice... And I have to say this has to be one of my favorites. The storyline was great and the characters were likeable. We got to know so many of them and see their growth through many, many years. I loved this book and would highly recommend any P&P fan to give it a read, you won't be disappointed.
