It took a bit for me to get into this but once I did I really liked the mix of great storytelling and snark dialogue. I'm already halfway through volume 2 and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for the star crossed lovers and their infant baby.

A very good example of world building in that I very quickly adjusted to a universe which was totally different even to someone such as myself that is familiar with the sci-fi/ fantasy landscape. The characters are very entertaining and each of their journeys are balanced well in relation to the central plot.
