Mainly read this as it bridges the gaps between [b:Batman and Robin, Vol. 1: Batman Reborn|6672183|Batman and Robin, Vol. 1 Batman Reborn|Grant Morrison|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320480968s/6672183.jpg|6867146] and [b:Batman and Robin, Vol. 2: Batman vs. Robin|7395327|Batman and Robin, Vol. 2 Batman vs. Robin|Grant Morrison|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327948245s/7395327.jpg|9276736]. Since I haven't read Morrison in a while, it was rather confusing.

Wasn't overly enthused with the stories, but the banter between Damian and Dick is nice.

It did finish off my Read-a-thon this month, though.

Did it clear up some of the mess left by all the earlier stories? Sort of. Was it compelling enough as a stand alone volume? Not especially.

Filling in some of the gaps in the whole RIP, Final Crisis saga, the missing chapters here should really be read sort of in between those. I dunno, it seems awfully messy and disjointed but it's nice to finally have it all filled in so that it makes sense. Wait, did I say makes sense? None of it makes sense, obviously but now all the glorious nonsense hangs together better. Still, messy. The other two are a past/present/future spanning mystery that's clever enough and a slightly more straightforward adventure that's a solid read, if not spectacular.
