Very nice illustrations and wonderful words can be found in this book about the animated film Rise of the Guardians. I learned about all the inspiration for the characters, what shape theme they are, some cultural story differences about the legends, and what the animators wanted them to represent. Fantastic book that I would recommend to artists or film fans! ~Ashley

This book is so shock-full of content, it's fantastic. The artwork is absolutely beautiful and it gives as thorough look of the the process of the film as possible. As someone interested in how an animated movie gets made, this book is a gem. A lot of thought is put into each character and each environment. (I am still pretty annoyed they decided to give Tooth pale skin when so much of her is inspired by south asian culture though)

Very, very beautiful book. I loved the movie and the books, and this book showed me how much work (and care!) went into the creation of the movie. It also revealed a lot about the process of making a movie, which was interesting in itself. The art itself is breathtaking, especially those of the various settings and it was fascinating to see the early designs of the main characters and how much they changed. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the movie or the books. Easy to appreciate even if you haven't read the books or watched the movie and just like beautiful artwork in general!

This book is filled with such exquisite artwork including sketches, developmental paintings, production stills, 3D models, etc. all from the making and development of Dreamworks Rise of the Guardians. I highly recommend this Art of book for any fan of the movie, Dreamworks, or general art/animation enthusiast.

Beautiful book full of beautiful art. They had a nice section describing the whole production involved, with even a little flowchart! I only wish they could fit in even more art and background explanations.
