This was fun! It reads a lot like a K-drama and I ate it up. My one big issue was that I wish some of the characters had more depth to them, especially the others in WDB. Elena also read as a "not like the other girls" type although I do appreciate the characters around her forcing her to be introspective at the end.

This book was adorable. It’s exactly what you think you’re going to get when you see the cover and read the blurb. Our main character is a girl who loves her local community center. So much so that she’s leading a charge for an alternative prom. It’s not that she has anything against prom itself, it’s how much money people spend on prom. Upwards of $1000. She feels that money could be better put to use at the community center. Now once upon a time she had a young, best friend before he moved back to Korea. Since moving back to Korea, he has become an idol in one of the biggest K-pop groups around. She is totally surprised when he knocks on her door and says I’m here to take you to prom. This book is very tropey, but in the best ways. It is exactly what you think you’re going to get and exactly what you want when you pick it up. This was a fun romp with a light romance that could be enjoyed by all ages.

My toxic trait is that I don’t think the FMC was wrong about any of her relationships, communication is a two way street and not a single person in her life that complained about her pushing them away tried to actually talk to her about it.

This book was very enjoyable! I didn't expect it to be one of those books that I found difficult to put down but to my surprise I finished it in 4 days.

The characters are very lovable, even when Elena got on my nerves I couldn't help but love her. Even the side characters were great! Minseok was and will always be my favorite. He's just the best. I was happy to find out that his light stick color is my favorite color and the light stick color of my favorite vocaloid!

This book seriously made me tear up. It was really easy to get invested with the lives and feelings of the characters. I'm not big on romance books but I'm glad my sister recommended this one to me. It was a great read!

this was unbearably adorable. there were parts of the miscommunication I was yelling at, but the ending was so sweet and endearing.
