Pacing was uneven and overall too quick, but my biggest gripe was the lack of tension length, caused in great part by the brevity of the book. The romance scenes would’ve packed a much stronger punch if the tension had been stretched out — you’ve got to build desire for there to be a payoff! Also, I’m not a fan of this representation of insta-love.

First off, professor student relationships are always a bit touchy, but I feel like this was handled as well as it could be.

I do love how set Honey is on seducing her professor Ben, but even more, I love what lengths Ben was willing to go to in order to get Honey back when he messed up. Such a fun read. I accidentally read this first in the trilogy, but it didn't matter too much - reading the first one now.
