I was fully prepared to give this a 5 star rating but something about the writing kept throwing me off. Still a cute friends to lovers with two awkward, jaded, insecure, neurodivergent characters

i loved this book so so so so so much. i tried to read as slowly as possible in one sitting while simultaneously devouring it. i just didn’t want it to be over. it is hope for the hopeless and comfort for the lonely. this story will encourage you to contemplate the reality of platonic friendship in our 20s and 30s. it’s so damn real and vulnerable and empowering.

thank you ruby for this stunner of a book!!!

First off can we talk about this cover?? It's absolutely STUNNING! I was already tempted to pick it up solely based on that and then I found out it's written by a local author and that was it! Overall, this book was a good time! I love that the main characters are bisexual and that it dealt with different kinds of grief and anxiety.
I would've rated it higher but the breakup scene where Jesse decides he can't be with her all of a sudden felt too plot device-y
. All in all, if you're looking for a romance with good smut that also dives into some deeper themes then I recommend this one! #IndigoEmployee

I loved the book and loved every representation in it.
Jesse and Eloise (I simply refuse to call her LuLu) are both very complicated yet simple they want to find their people and their friends while navigating adulthood and trauma on Jesse's part.
It's a beautiful book.
