I really did not enjoy this edition of The Paris Review. The only story I actually enjoyed was the last story Gertrude by Isabella Hammad.

I'm usually have a hard time connecting with the poetry, but I normally find the art thought provoking and simply adore the author interviews. The short stories are always a mixed bag for me. Unfortunately, I found all of the works to be a bit stale and convoluted, save the last story. This one was a real bummer.
