I'm on a cowboy kick and this was really good. Enemies to lovers, slow burn, tension, the FMC was really really funny. Also, the Friends jokes? Cracked me up!

September 2021 reread:
As usual RS Grey really does know how to write a great balance of romance and comedy. Arrogant Devil has a bit more slow burn-y romance to it, along with touching on more serious topics, but still provides enough levity to the book with the banter and chemistry between Meredith and Jack. Some of the characters in the beginning did kind of frustrate me, but for being a shorter standalone, they did exhibit some pretty good character development by the end.

I loved this book! It's my first by this author and hopefully won't be my last.
It's a full-blown slow burn ❤️‍

I'm convinced Ali Hazelwood went to the R.S. Grey school of writing, bcos the writing of this book was giving me major Ali vibes

e n way, this was my first R.S. Grey book and it won't be the last

Jack and Meredith were great, Alfred was the best boyyyy and Edith rocked

I lowkey wished the ex drama and the sister situation had a lil more spice, alas

I had fun, would recommend

"I try to catch every one of her smiles as if they’re meant just for me. I’m smitten, and I have been for longer than I care to admit."

Cute slow burn enemies to lovers romance and Alfred, his dog was amazing.

This was book #28 for Romanceopoly 2020.

Pack: Sun
Square: Farmers Market
Challenge: Read a romance where the h/H is a farmer/rancher/cowboy

This was such a fun read. I really enjoyed reading Meredith's pov. I'm in love with R.S. Grey's writing style and stories. I can't wait to read more of her books. DEFINITELY read this one.
