I've read quite a few books in the personal growth space, and there's always a Venn diagram of how much information you've already heard somewhere else. I was blown away by how much content in Discover Your Dharma felt net new to this genre. This book reflected back to me my own personal growth and spiritual awakening journey, and laid out what next stages are to come - something I feel immensely grateful for, because this way finding path can be a gnarly one. I'd recommend using this book workbook-style, pausing to journal and reflect along the way.

I found this book to be OK. It was more of a personal pep rally than a guidebook to uncover our own personal dharma. I did not do the exercises, which may have changed my perspective. I feel informed for having read this book, but do not feel compelled to dig deeper.

This book came into my life at just the right time! It’s a truly remarkable guide to finding and embodying your highest self and purpose, with very practical applications. I especially loved the embedded quizzes and journal prompts throughout to gain deeper personal insight into your self and your journey ahead. I have recommended this book to so many people already, and will continue to do so for anyone who wants to deepen their self reflection and start acting your purpose. Total gamechanger that meets you right where you’re at.

This is one of those books that everyone should read. If you know what you want to do with your life but have no idea how to go about it, read this! If you have no idea what you are supposed to do with your life, read this! It is very good motivator to get going and get on the path that is meant for you. She has quizzes on her website that help you understand who you are when reading this book and I highly recommend taking them because it gives you an idea what to focus on.

good motivational advice but i don’t think the quizzes and the dosha specific stuff were all that helpful for me as they didn’t really resonate.

I didn't know what to expect coming into this book, but I adored it. It really set a fire under my ass in a time that I was feeling very stagnant. During the time that I listen to this book, I had just moved countries and was trying to find my workflow again as an entrepreneur and someone who is self-employed. While reading this I was pushed to connect with people and do my best work yet. As a result, I have almost quadrupled my income.

Sahara speaks in a way that is wise yet understandable, clear but profound, and inspiring while simultaneously comforting. The topics, information, and research brought into this book are so eye-opening and I can not recommend it enough!!!! One of the best new age/ spiritual books I have read in a while!

Sahara has a very positive outlook on the universe. One that is filled with people who have purposes to serve.

As much as I liked reading her prospective, I do believe in the balance present in the world and the good vs. bad.
Yes I do believe people innately are good. But the world isn’t made up of lost souls trying to find their serving purpose. Maybe in a utopia where we all achieved the awareness, we would’ve.
But realistically speaking, that’s not how the world works.
It is however a good reminder of the good in people and that they can actively seek to bring it out.
