Great story about how you have to actively work to maintain friendships when you choose different life paths, but just bc you don’t have everything in common doesn’t mean that you have to leave your friends or be left behind. V emotional especially if you’re childfree and worry about your friends leaving you behind when they have kids.

urrrghhh. middle class white woman writes about the struggle and strife that having a decent job and boujie mates in central london brings.

great concept but deeply questionable execution, love.

It is so so refreshing to read a book about a woman who is coming to terms with the fact that she doesn't want children, how lonely it feels and how many people diminish her choices. Having been the friend who often says 'I don't want children' and the response 9 times out of 10 being 'you'll change your mind' I really related to this book, I worry often about drifting from people due to my decision to remain child free and it really summed everything up brilliantly.

I listened to the audiobook while reading and having Sian Clifford narrate it was amazing! The book to me felt like a mix already between Fleabag and Everything I Know About Love but having Claire from fleabag actually narrate it really bought me there.

We need more of this narrative in media and I think it's just the beginning for it.
