SO disappointed in the ending of the series. I'm not totally surprised, but the heartlessness of it all was gross to read.

The Perfect Ending!

The Body Movers series has finally come to an end with a wedding and a mystery solved by Carlotta (of course!). I just loved this series, have followed it since the beginning and even with years between some books I never lost interest. I thought I would be sad to see it end but if it had to then I’m glad for the way Bond ended it. Even so, I hope we get some glimpses into the future for Carlotta, Wes, Hannah, Jack, Prissy, Coop, Jack, and even Mouse!

Ok? So I did not want to comment before finishing the whole series.

Although I did enjoy myself for the most part, there are just to many iritating aspects for me to give more than an overall score of 3.25 stars.

I really think we could have rapped everything up with 9/10 books vs 12.

What iritated me the most ?
1. Wes being a fuck up for the whole 11 books
and then in the last one he is magically drug free, does not want to cheat, passes his entrance exams and get the girl ? To clean and to fast to be believable

2. The way the whole Coop vs Jack thing went down. I mean I have no words . I was forming at the mouth with fury on the last pages . No! Just no. I don't care who you wanted her to pick the way it happened was just cruel.
3. The mysteries where to predictable in the last books.

That's why 3.25 for he series but only 2 for the last book.

I wish the series had ended at book 10. I didn't like the extra mystery that Carlotta's mom shared with her, that really could have been either not a thing, or in the end Carlotta had mixed up the tests and the condom-person was related to who Carlotta was?

And I feel like the last two books were just dragging out what was a boring potential ending. I wish everyone could have had an HFN or HEA, or at least not been the put upon person through all 12 books. And continually put into an awkward position through the entire series into the future.

That being said I loved this series. The characters were great and I'd read a spin off but maybe only for that last person getting their HEA at least ... or Mouse, he was a fun addition.

SERIES FINALE! Carlotta is finally getting married, still solving murders, & grieving over the deaths of two of her friends. Wes is getting his crap together for school, Hannah and Chance are pregnant, & Carlotta's parents are on the up & up. Carlotta is finally spreading her wings with her new business and planning the wedding with Coop. Still trying to solve Patricia and Peter's deaths, she butts heads with Detective Terry, puts Coop in a bad spot in the medical examiner's office, & learns more about her biological father and half sister. Surprises abound and wedding jitters bring this series to a close with a wedding to remember.
