WOWOWOW! I was gifted this book for Christmas and though there were books I would’ve probably wanted more boyyy am I happy I got this instead!!! Picked it up from my shelf this morning in a rush to find something to numb my Boredom and make me feel accomplished in between busy hours at work today. Three chapters in it was over! Totally crushed it…. This book had me LOCKED IN!!! And though in hindsight predictable I never would’ve guessed that the gunman was Patrick(the son!?) I really thought it was John(the husband) I really thought Logan was gonna save them and then have to go deal with his sisters abusive bf! Damn this caught me off guard! Also I love a happy ending so this book was super satisfying!

This intriguing story has many twists and turns. It's well written, a real page turner. I couldn't put it down and read it in a few days. The angst, the tension, the fear, the uncertainty is palpable. The characters are unforgettable.
