More suited for a project manager than from a developer's perspective.

I think chunks of this book were excellent and extremely useful, while much of the rest was self-indulgent and repetitive. Coming from a marketing background to a career in technology, it was extremely useful to read chapters 3-5 and 9, but I could have easily skipped over the rest of the book. There are only so many times I can read the author explaining that a company had a bad process, he came in and introduced scrum, and then things worked. But I took some key learnings from those meaningful sections that will influence my work for the better. If you work in any role related to software development, reading those four chapters will be well worth your time.
