The Enemy is an enemies to lovers book BUT it also is a "he's always been in love with her and she's always been in love with him" which is a WILD combination! The two main characters, June (Jake from The Match's sister) and Ryan, have been pranking and messing with each other all throughout high school BUT when Ryan fakes June out for a kiss after graduation and then they don't see each other FOREVER, who knows what they're both really feeling! When they're brought back together for their best friend's wedding, at first they are enemies all over again but they slowly become something else...šŸ‘€šŸ„¹
This slow burn story has another element that is very fun because June is a donut baker and Ryan is a 3 Michelin star chef so they both cook/bake together and it is such a fun element because it creates cute moments but also adds an element of stress to the story too!
Thank you so much to Dell Romance for a copy of this adorable book in exchange for an unbiased review!šŸ’–

This was not it for me. The FMC was obnoxious and kind of whiny. I love Sarah Adams but this book was a nope.

These are so wonderful! I want a hardcover copy so I can go back and read them when I ever I need a little warmth and love!

4.5 rounded down (but Iā€™m still debating). Iā€™m not sure why the rating on this is low because I thought it was adorable! Second chance romance between rivals who love a prank war. June is so cute and a little neurotic and Ryan is kinda perfect if you like sensitive, handsome Michelin star chefs. Sarah Adams is always a win for me. This is one of her closed door books.

Entertaining and fun, one of the better enemy to lovers I've read.
