In its favour I really like pretty much all the illustrators who have contributed to this volume, and I think the sentiment behind creating The Pride had good intentions to provide better representation for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Admittedly I am cishet, so feel free to take my opinion with a pinch of salt, but to me the characters seem cliched and the situations engineered to have a dialogue on LGBTQIA+ issues.
