An incredible and heartbreaking story about losing a parent told through poems. This absolutely gutted me. Even though it's been two years since I lost my father, the line "the cause and effect of losing a noun" in the poem titled Grief caused a wave of grief to wash over me.
I was overjoyed to find several books of poetry by local authors at my library. I'm definitely going to seek out more local authors in the future.
