I received this book from Netgalley/publisher in exchange of an honest review.

A small town, a Sasquatch, a girl determined to do everything she can to save the town, and more. I really had tons of fun reading this one.

Meet Louie, a strong girl who loves her two dads and who loves her little town. I loved how Louie was determined to help her dads, her town. She never once gives up, instead just boulders on making new plans for getting money (she is already letting people sleep in her closet as an airBNB which had me laughing so much), and making sure her town is getting saved. I would have liked her to be a bit honest towards her dads in several of the pages, but given what we find out about the dads.. I can imagine that she isn’t going to let that slide. Still, did she really think no one would notice?

'Martian Ghost Centaur' with story and art by Mat Heagerty is about a martian ghost centaur eventually, but it's a graphic novel with a lot of heart along the way.

Louie lives in Southborough, home of a Sasquatch sighting years ago. Her two dads own a burger place with a signature burger and her best friend Felix lives in the town. Then things start to change. A tech startup wants to buy up the town and the Sasquatch sighting is debunked on tv. As Louie watches her friends leave and her family business failing, she has to find a plan to fix things.

This was a fun story with fun art. The title doesn't really make a lot of sense for the majority of the story, but it will eventually, and it is a catchy title.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Oni Press and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

I LOVED THIS!!
This was such a fun story about a teen girl living in a town famous for its Sasquatch sightings. Over the years, tourism has died down and the town is in need of funds. A tech company struts in with plans to bulldoze the town for its headquarters and our main character must figure out how to save her town, while also dealing with normal teen problems like figuring out who she is and what she wants to do for the rest of her life.

This book takes many important topics, from friendships, the unknown of our futures, the struggles of our neighbors, what makes a person happy... the list goes on. Each topic transitions seamlessly to the next. Complete with hilarious dialogue and beautiful + fun art. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a light-hearted pallet cleanser and this did and didn't meet my expectations of that.

While this book is not a happy go lucky story and does dig into what it's like to watch a place you love fade away despite your best efforts. It knows how to balance the deep lows with humor perfectly.

Paired with characters that very much make you want to root for their cause and you will for sure fall in love with. This book was honestly a blast from beginning to end.

I loved this book! I found this to adorable but with a solid message. The whole story was so much fun I couldn't put it down. I just had to know what was going to happen now. The book had some great serious undertones as well which is what really sold this book for me. I would 100% recommend this book and I can't wait to get myself a physical copy when it comes out!
