I really enjoyed the creativity of the curse and storyline.

I love a good witchy story. It reminded me a lot of Hocus Pocus.
In 1825, three young women are accused of being witches and condemned to death by drowning in the town of Sparrow. Since their death, every year the women return, inhabiting local girls bodies to drown 3 men as revenge for their death.
I really enjoyed the story and the writing. I saw the twist coming but I still really enjoyed it. The ending was bittersweet but perfectly wrapped up. The way the town 'celebrates' the Swan Season is a bit ritualistic and morbid in my opinion.
I'd say probably good for people 15+ (little bit of swearing and sex is alluded to but never really shown).

I love the originality of the story line, but somehow the execution left me wanting. I never felt very attached to the characters, as if I could share a tear or hardly even a laugh with them. *shrugs*
