so so good. i’m still amazed at the level of detail ditlevsen wrote her life in. the two books i’ve read honestly read more like fiction - which is a crazy talent to have. i’m savouring this trilogy because i never want it to end

Part 2 of Ditlevson's trilogy of memoirs, this picks up almost immediately where Childhood left off and covers Ditlevson's teenage years. I really enjoyed journeying with her as she grew up and I really wanted her to find the answers to her struggles. Very interesting, moving and thoughtful, I liked it a lot.
