Jack is undercover as a criminal. But he is really a fed officer. He works as an undercover officer on dangerous assignments. He is fine with all this until he meets up with his old love Sophia
This was a great novella. It has a lot of action and suspense. I love that it is fast paced and keeps you interested.
The romance between Jack and sophia is nice but doesn't take up the whole story. I liked how you could tell that this story was supposed to take place in another world. They had a language and the author set up an atmosphere that felt like you were somewhere else.
