Another great volume. This art style rocks. Based on the last original book I read, so from here on out it's manga only for me. The pacing of the manga series is tons better, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it more this way :)

It really is so fun to experience this in a new way. It's feels so fresh that even though I've read the Saga of Darren Shan an unknown number of times it still remains impressive. I laugh and I love the characters, the story. Everything. Debbie and Darren were adorbs as always but this is giving me a new love for Evra as well. He so cool and good to Darren I love their friendship so much.

This novel was highly engaging, but it told the story a bit too quickly. The relationship between Darren and Debbie didn't have time to grow and felt very rushed. The villain also wasn't very interesting in this book. However, it was still exciting and a fun retelling of the original books.

Book three in the Cirqu du Freak manga series.

Life with the Cirque Du Freak is going well for Darren until Mr. Crepsley decides to take him and his friend Evra Von on a trip. At first, it feels like a vacation. Darren and Evra have a great time and Darren meets his first girlfriend. Then, bodies drained of blood start showing up and Darren and Evra begin to suspect Mr. Crepsley.

Can Darren stop the murders without endangering the lives of his friends?

Good. Intense. There are more descriptions than the first book so it's good. I know what's going on more.
