We finally get to meet Rosemary and find out how her life was before she had Kit. We also get some very big news at the end of the book which was very foreshadowed.

The ending was beautiful but I didn't really care about the rest of it

2018 review:
** spoiler alert ** cassandra clare: a couple that doesn't have children together? not in my series!
anyway, i cried, so who am i to make fun of it. i hope they call him will if it's a boy, it's only fair after will and tessa named their son james.

While I have felt that a lot of the novellas in the Ghosts of the Shadow Market collection have been too long, this novella felt very rushed. I didn’t feel like the plot was particularly strong and I didn’t enjoy the parts that were entered around what was going on in Tessa’s head. There is a reveal at the end that was exciting to see, but it didn’t make the whole novella better. It was, for the lack of a better word, meh.

Oh, that is just rude.
“Do you see him, too?” Tessa whispered.
“I see him,” Jem said...”
Rosemary’s story is so heartbreaking. Ugh!
