Just a journey from start to finish. Colbey cements himself as one of the best characters I have ever read about and this while story with its twists and turns keeps the reader on the edge of their seat.
The ending though is rather open ended and the presence of a sequel series does justify that.
Other than Colbey, characters like Khitajrah, Mar Lon, Arduwyn, Freya and Loki were all great as well.
This trilogy is a must read for those who wish to experience just excellent fantasy with a lot of Norse inspirations.
