After devouring the first three books in this series, I was so excited for this one. I love this author and I had such high hopes. Unfortunately, this one just kind of missed the mark. It wasn’t as swoony as the first three, and at times felt a little rushed. I enjoyed the way the FMC was able to face and work through her trauma, and I appreciated the references to the early suffragette movement. Unfortunately, the love story just fell flat.
