An inspiring book although a very short one. Unlike many other non-fiction books, this one kept me turning from page to page and after finishing it, i want to know more about President Obama, Martin Luther King and their speeches. I think all kids should read books like this and then discuss it with their parents or teacher. They would learn so much not only about how the US goverment works but also about the power of pursuing one's dream, hard working and "being the change you want to see in the world".

Great Biography of President Barack Obama, it is also very easy to read for a younger audience as well.

Well written biography for kids that hits all the high points of President Obama's life. It was written before his second term, so it doesn't cover some of his bigger missteps like the Ukrainian crisis or the rise of ISIS. (Though those things probably wouldn't be covered in a school-aged book anyway). At any rate, the book does capture Obama's integrity and impressive achievements.

I learned a lot about our former president. It was nice to learn something about someone I am more familiar with.

Very interesting. I knew a lot of this since I read Michelle Obama's memoir.

Good book, but it felt like it read a little chopper then his other books. This book gave some good information, but some of the sentences end abruptly.
