Lo leí en la secundaria por obligación curricular y sin dudas fue el puntapié inicial para descubrir Shakespeare. Gran obra literaria, aunque al ser en formato opera no sé si es muy beginner friendly.

Dear me, not an accomplished writer nor a discerning student of literature such as myself is unworthy of criticizing this royal piece of art!
This thin book has got in itself the very quintessence that most thick books and other duology, trilogy or tetralogy tried but still failed to bring about perfectly. I’ve heard praises of Shakespeare and his Hamlet for too long, but I had only got a chance to read the shorten prose version of it in my language. This was my first private meeting with this legendary writer, and Good Heavens; have I just, for the first time in my life, found out what a passional beauty is like when it’s reflected in mere letters.
Hamlet was penned with such richness in philosophical depth and was languaged exquisitely. If Dickens is my Hermes for his rhetoric and intellectual proses, then for the emotional eloquence of his composition, Shakespeare thus becomes Apollo to me.

is it good? yes. is it as batshit fun as shakespeare always is? yes. it just lacks that ‘wtf’ factor some of the other plays have.

The most remarkable work of western literature. To say anything about it were to say too little.
Circled back in my Shakespeare project to grab another of the biggies I didn’t get to last year. Listened to the Arkangel audio book and it was extremely well performed.
