2.5 stars.

It wasn't that I didn't like it at all. I mean, I love horses and I love romance and the characters were real fun to read about and I liked the sexual tension between them and the writing of the author.

But a lot of elements in regard to the 'animal whispering/talking' didn't feel real to me, even though I'm really open minded about things like this. So that's really what's making me give this book a 2.5 star rating. Since it's a fairly thin book.. It gave me a harlequin book feel instead of a well developed romance novel, which I would've preferred and thought was to be expected beforehand.

In regards to the writing.. I liked it a lot, especially the romantic/sexual tension writing around these characters, so it makes me want to read more of this author despite of the lower rating.

Cilla is asked to 'whisper' to one of Cameron Rahl's horses, a fierce stallion out of control. Cameron however does not believe in Cilla's abilities, even when he keeps getting confronted with evidence. Because of his childhood he is very guarded of his heart. There is immense attraction between Cilla and Cameron, as they are drawn to each other but Cameron is reluctant to admit it and commit.

Written beautifully and with heart, I enjoyed this book very much. There is more between heaven and earth and I believe in intuitive people and that you can discover more when you are open to it. I could have done without the extra drama near the end and clobbered Cameron, but the ending was very satisfying.

Great book! I am happy I requested this as an ARC and this is my honest review.
