This was far and beyond the best book of the series. I was given an eARC by the author and let me tell you, I devoured it. You learn the full story of her relationship with the devil and part of me was even pulling for their relationship to work out. The twists and turns throughout the series make a lot more sense and the ending was spectacular. I'm sad to see the end of Gabriella and her soul mates!

I was really impressed with the character growth in this book. Gabrielle went from weird supernatural teenager to Queen of the Damned, and yet somehow she in some aspects brought out a little humanity of both men fighting for her love. I'll be honest, I wasn't thrilled with the ending. It was predictable but understandable. It was never going to go any other way, but honestly, I wanted to be surprised. I saw glimpses of where the ending could go and wanted it desperately. Alas, it was not meant to be. I still enjoyed the book and it took me from really liking the series to loving it. I also appreciate that while it was not the ending I wanted, it was a complete ending that tied up the series nicely.

is it bad that I loved lucifer/hades/pluto/devil/asiri? I wish something happened between them but I still loved Andre as well.

4.5 stars
A female God, two soulmates, three living fates and a upcoming apocalypse. Angels, demons, supernaturals and humans fighting against their destiny.
I loved this series, it was an entertaining, fast and almost light read. I am looking forward to read other books written by Laura Thalassa.

)

UH super super hard to review this book : I did NOT like the first part that I spent a lot of time reading, I loved the second part and I SO loved the end !!
I expected a lot from hell and the plot with the myth of Persephone ... And I must admit that at first I was disappointed : the style was inconsistent, not always clear, a little too hasty and rough (
Spoilerthe the devil was disappointing, a little too caricatural, Gabrielle's come and go between the Earth and hell too fast and not really useful, the way she behaves in the beginning (personally, I would have killed ALL Politia, Caleb the first !!), Leanne and Oliver who ... Are there why again ?, the fact that nothing happens for a moment between Asiri and Gabrielle while SERIOUSLY he is the Devil !!, the angels that I would have liked more complex ...
)
And then after the chapters 10-11, the plot begins to become more complex and from there everything follows : Gabrielle begins to doubt everything she thought she knew, the role of Jericho (I loved the fact
Spoilerthat God is a woman <3
), the Devil who appears more like Pluto, the Devil who
Spoileris torturing Gabrielle
(OMG !! This chapter 24 !!!) ... AND THIS END !!! I loved the end, perfect !! And reading this short passage towards the end where we see another future, I would have loved to read an alternative ending where
SpoilerGabrielle doesn't choose Andre
><

In short, if you want a light reading but also a bit dark with romance, Greek mythology and endearing characters, this series is for you <3

Sip. Así de buenos.

What an amazing ending to what ended up being a Hades and Persephone retelling.

This whole series was unique, in that you had Gabrielle, the last of the Sirens, who is also soulmate to a vampire and promised since birth to the Devil.

Gabrielle is now in hell and is the devils consort. She gets to spend half her day in hell and part of her day on earth, however when she is on earth, if she bleeds, she creates demons who go about trying to bring about the end of the world.

While in Hell, she learns about what it will be like to be queen of the underworld, and while on earth she works with Andre, Lauren and Oliver to find away to get out of her predicament.

Not only does she have the usual suspects trying to kill her, but now the Politia, people she had worked with, have jumped on the bandwagon as well. After the ending of book 4, I'm surprised Caleb had the nerve to want forgiveness for his actions.

We have a massive ending with a battle between hell and earth.

Even though I didn't really like the devil, I really hoped he would be given a way to redeem himself, for everything he put Gabrielle through, but this did not happen.

I really wish this series hadn't ended as I loved it so much.

Not gonna lie I was very disappointed in this book. This series started off really good. So I’m very disappointed with this book.
