Very cute children's book. the illustrations are gorgeous and I love the idea of a balloon being a friend.
I also liked that the main character having 2 moms wasn't the focus or even really brought up just put in as a normal everyday occurrence.

The sweetness of a young friendship and learning how to cope with the loss of it — perfectly lovely. The illustrations are lush and beautiful. Add this to the small stack of picture books with gay parent rep.
