my first fanon! and honestly very, very good. i really appreciate his writing style and strong point of view, and especially love when he dips into prose to explain a concept that would be far too difficult to explain otherwise. very weird homophobia spread throughout this book? but what can you expect for a book from the 50s/60s... overall, really great representation of the black experience under white supremacy, and what that means for both the black man and the white man
