Definitely don’t think this will be everyone’s taste but I really enjoyed this book! There are a few fleetingly eerie moments but for the most part this is less creepy and more bleak and grim. This was a quick read that kept me engaged throughout; even with the repetitive nature of the story I felt myself hanging on every word just hoping for a way out for Amanda. Definitely recommend the audiobook!

I bought this on Kobo books for 13 CAD$ and that's way too expensive for a 194 pages book that seems to be a first effort. For 1-2$ it would have been an ok novel.
