This book is actually called a "graphic poem" on the cover and that's a good description. It captures more of a feeling than a plot. Set in and incorporating art from the Louvre, this is a beautiful little book.

Simply lovely. Especially to be enjoyed by anyone who has visited and loved the Louvre.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first Louvre comic I read, but it was intriguing enough. The ending wasn't particularly satisfying because it didn't really answer any of the mysteries it set up. It just kind of ended on a vague note that I'm sure many readers will enjoy the artistry of, but I was waiting to find a connection with the characters in some ending revelation and it never came.

The illustrations were charming but plot was a little thin.
