My squees include:
-Sympathetic main characters with compelling strengths and weaknesses. I really wanted Yashilla and Zar to make it. She presents a hacker mentality that I, as a programmer, find spot on. He's a bit simpler, but an all-around good guy.
-The tech and worldbuilding are rich and solid.
-The romance is believable.
-Villains who chew just enough scenery.
-Clear-cut, fast-paced action scenes.

My grumbles include:
-I'd figured out the little twist near the end in advance, maybe because I've read a ton of cyberpunk.

This is the kind of book I need more of in my life.
