Uhh. It held promise in the beginning but one to many plot holes later I was happy it was over. It wasn't unpleasant but I found myself eye-rolling a lot and wishing the villians were less one-demensional.
The author walked a fine line of playing down werewolfism and forgetting about it. It felt like a lot of the fine tuning of the plot was left out to make the overall plot work.
And I'm sorry the main distinction between "evil" and "good" packs being how modern their practices are when it comes to mating, relationships, and gender roles when the "good" guys use terms like "fertile females", talkes about them more as property than people, and the alpha females might as well be completely submissive doesn't work.
Two words sum up my feelings: Revise & Edit
