These are the extra screens that did not make it into the final copy of the trilogy. The entire book is a spoiler fyi. What I love about it is that she kept these short moment that tell us more about the characters and what happens to them. We get some closer, some high emotions but I loved this little addition

The sibling relationships in this series are some of the BEST. I love these characters.

I rather enjoyed these extra tidbits from Daevabad. I love that we have chapters written from Jamshid's, Muntadhir's and Zaynab's perspectives. While I feel Empire of Gold ended the series perfectly, I do wish I got more of these fascinating characters.
There definitely are typos here and I think the writing could use a bit of polishing and tightening here and there however I can't really be mad as this was a free offer from the author, and she gave us a generous amount of pages from this world.

The 181-page pdf wasn't as much as the average daevabad novel, but it was definitely worth everything considered that the author even put it on her website free of any purchase!! Like that's the best thing I've ever known!!
Anyway, I'm really hoping for more POV's and really awesome stories in the final and corrected version!! Can't wait to read that!!
Spoiler
While I must confess, the only two things I really hoped to be present in this book was a little bit more on Rustam and Duriya and the al Qahtani siblings (other than Ali). While the latter was fulfilled, in a way, I really wanted to read more of Rustam and Duriya. There were small snippets that hinted them; Manizheh's first chapter where Rustam appears in the near end. And also when Muntadhir "gifts" Nahri Rustam's belongings, which included a painting of Duriya beside a jute plant. I know the fact that it really was her mum wasn't mentioned; this was released a month before The Empire of Gold after all; I can't help but start fangirling on that little mention. XDDDAnyway, I'm really hoping for more POV's and really awesome stories in the final and corrected version!! Can't wait to read that!!

Truly a gift for those who wanted some perspectives of Muntadhir, Jamsheid or Zaynab.
