About a 3.5 really. This classic was an awesome suspense in its heyday. I’d like to see it modernized, but it was still fantastic overall.

Also, the audiobook was fantastic because it was read by Mia Farrow whom had also starred in the film adaptation.

Not bad. Not Steven King, but not bad. I’ve never seen the movie. I understand now from the ending how there came to be sequels.

Historie znałam z filmu, który mimo że oglądałam ze 20 lat temu wciąż świetnie pamiętałam, dlatego znacznie ciężej jest mi ocenić samą książkę. Czytało się ja bardzo dobrze, jest napisana bardzo łatwym, zwartym językiem. Brak w niej przydługich opisów a akcja szybko posuwa się do przodu. Jest klimat, jest groza i bardzo fajna fabuła. Bardzo fajne.
