A short story collection - I was in the mood for short stories, as it fit my erratic reading time in the last week. Some of the stories are better than others, some are clever, one or two are repetitive (different variations on solving the puzzle of an eccentric old man's will, for example) and the last one is a bit absurd: how far will Lord Peter go to defeat a gang of crooks? But it was a fun read.

I enjoyed this book of short stories with Lord Peter Wimsey and his holmesian ways.

A wonderful collection of short stories. Since are really fantastic--in both senses of the word, others are fairly mundane.
And some great quips to hold onto for a rainy day.

A delightful series of short stories with recurring themes such as playful old gentlemen who turn their estate planning into puzzles. These books have many signs of age including antiquated cultural references and casual sexism, classism, anti-Semitism etc, but the charm persists nonetheless.
