2.5 stars rounded down.

This girl needs to stop crying, also the graduation scene was very very cringe.

I absolutely loved this story!!! It was super sweet and cute! The characters are great and I loved the interactions between them. Tommie and Roan have been best friends for like 10 years. Tommie feels like she is just one of the boys and wants to get past that. She went to Prom and had her first kiss, but it was a total disaster and she wants to move past it and for the rest of the school to move past it as well. It has been causing problems for her focus out on the softball field and caused her to change her routines because she is avoiding people that have been making fun of her for it. I loved Tommie's best friend and sister and the way that they interacted with her as well. Roan resists helping with a kissing tutor until he finally says that he will do it. I loved getting to see them together and this was a great friends to romance story. Once I started reading this one, I did not want to put it down. I wanted to know exactly how everything was going to work out. Both Tommie and Roan are of course worried about changing their friendship as they don't want to lose it if things go badly. It causes them to hide their feelings for more as they don't know how the other one feels. This story pulled me in from beginning to end. It is sweet and just had that adorable feeling the whole time. I greatly enjoyed it! It can be read as a standalone easily though it is part of a series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
