I didn't enjoy it as much as the first, but it was still fun, engaging, and would get students thinking!

Less plot, more coding than the first book. So I can't really tell where the PLOT is going, but my guess is that in the coding they'll get to if/then statements soon.

I believe this is the first book in which they say what coding language they're working with which made things slightly confusing. It's an interesting premise but the only character that isn't boring and/or annoying is Eni. I hope with later editions they find away to make the characters more relatable or likeable.

V, age 6: It was cool. This was the second book and it's really exciting. If there's a third book, I can't wait to read it.

Definitely not a stand-alone -- these books are in sequence. Still, an enjoyable way to learn the basics of coding, and a gradually unfolding story.

My review of book one reserved judgment for this book as to whether the series would be worth recommending.

Turns out, book two expanded on one's promise in all the right ways! The character moments, and interactive programming puzzles make an ideal combination for leading readers through beginner programming and logical processes.

On to book three!

I so want to use these books in a coding lesson. They are wonderfully accessible.
