It's formative to Red Hood as a character, and it sets the standard for his characterization going forward, but. I can't get over the sleeping-with-Talia-right-after-you-acknowledged-her-being-in-love-with-your-dad thing.

The funny thing about Jason Todd being a villain/anti-hero, is that outside of Batman comics he'd be a hero. He fights bad guys, but he kills them too. He'd fit right in with The Authority. This book, along with the original Red Hood trade, is a must read for Jason fans, and I think even those who aren't his biggest supporter would get something out of it too.

Good enough!
Jason is likable enough right now, and his motivations make sense. He's always been a little shit with extremely violent tendencies and having that be his main gimmick now that he's back from the dead and filled with rage it makes sense that he'll act like this.
I thought it was a good enough intro to his character and it explains his evolution pretty well, and I also enjoyed Talia's character in here. Look at that woman getting more and more agency. Thank god Ra's is dead and Nyssa changed her for the better (as of right now).
Minus one star for incest. I know that technically neither Bruce nor Talia are his parents but it's still way too weird.

Jason Todd is probably my least favorite Robin, but I really enjoyed this. Art was OK, not outstanding. Filled in a bunch of gaps. Very good story.

Yay, a full mini series and not a compilation of stories! I’m reading this already knowing where Red Hood ends up, so making the parallel between Hood and Joker feels off to me, but I can only imagine the

When I say I love comics this is what I mean!!

Judd Winnick's Jason is so important to me and the way this entire event changed comics was (and *is*) absolutely HUGE (keep an eye out for the entire book I write about why Jason Todd's death and resurrection and the events after it are some of the best comics choices ever made). Every aspect of this series is actually so beautiful and the way it matters to me might not be something I can concisely put into words.

I didn't think I was going to be able to find a copy of the book and I'm so so soooo glad I was able to read it after all -- it was worth the wait and deserves all the praise it gets. One of the best presents I've received, and definitely one of the best books I've read this year. I love love love love love love love love love you Red Hood: The Lost Days<3

Again, not a Jason Todd fan. Didn’t like him as Robin & there was a good reason why they killed off the character, but in comics no one stays dead unless your name is Uncle Ben or Thomas & Martha Wayne. The story premise is a bit weak in explaining why/how Jason is back from the dead. The Lazarus Pit seems like a “catch all” in how characters can escape death. Winick doesn’t do a bad job in writing & the art is solid, just simply don’t like the character & try to make Jason a darker version of Dick.

I actually like this a lot, and I ADORED the Talia/Jason combo… until the last issue *sigh*
They spent the whole plot making Talia a mentor/mom, and then, out of the blue… they have sex.
The whole reason of Talia taking Jason is that she loves Bruce. And then she fucks his son.
Sure.
Super believable.
