This book is indispensable for anyone involved in running a religious institution - Christian or otherwise (I'm jewish and run a reform congregation. I'm completely mystified by some of the mediocre reviews. This is one of the books about engagement that actually has solid research behind it (as opposed to someone who just spouts off). While the solutions are less useful than the analysis (you could say this about 90% of all business books), the analysis is so useful. Highly recommended.
