The X-men work on their image by doing some small jobs in the community. Then they end up with Spider-Man taking on the evil version of the Beast. Pretty average superhero stuff, but some pretty funny lines and did I mention I love how Bahcalo draws the evil Beast? And lizard creatures. And sewers. And Wolverine. And lizard Wolverine. And all the other character he draws. Ever.
Yea so it was fun.

I loved this. It reminded me of the early-90's crossovers like Spidey and Ghost Rider vs Venom or Ghost Rider and the X-Men vs the Brood. I love to see Spidey and Wolverine's chemistry, and this book has that in spades, as well as Bachelo's incredibly fantastic artwork. He's one of the greats in the biz.

Loved the art and story. One to add to personal collection.

A two star story that follows up a Spider-Man Brand New Day storyline, with four star art by Bachalo. It's not his best. It's reminiscent of the Brand New Day storyline (which he also drew) but it's a bit more cluttered and ahrd to folow than most of his modern work. It still looks amazing, just not as great as some of his other work. It's not quite enough to save this rather dull story, though.

Nothing special with the story except this may be the moment when I finally got Emma Frost fatigue. Bachalo's art is worth a close look for the layout and design (not as much the execution of figures).
